Established in 1943, this unit was instrumental in some of the most challenging battles of World War II. They gained notoriety for their unparalleled bravery and perseverance throughout the Battles of Kwajalein, Saipan, Tinian, and the well-known Iwo Jima. Operation Desert Storm showed how committed the 4th Marine Division was to completing its objective. This design honours the division's culture and the accomplishments of the groundbreaking women who helped create its thriving history.
