This gorgeous umbrella canopy created by Izaskun Chinchilla will be on display for the entire summer on New York's Governors Island. The use of vibrantly coloured old umbrellas creates an eye-catching display that also functions as a dome. The umbrella canopy can shelter people when it rains and provide shade on sunny days. This beautiful structure called 'Organic Growth Pavilion' was one of two finalists chosen during the 2015 'City of Dreams' competition hosted by the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter's Emerging Architects Committee. I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.
