First Kiss (angel detail) by Bouguereau Standard Apron
The First Kiss, angels detail (1890) by Bouguereau. A vintage Victorian mythology fine art realist religious portrait painting. Two angels, one kissing the other on the cheek.
Although the correct title of the painting is L'Amour et Psyché, Enfants, it was incorrectly titled Le Premier Baiser (The First Kiss) and the name stuck.
About the artist:
William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) was an academic painter in realism and a staunch traditionalist whose realistic style and mythological themes were modern interpretations of classical subjects.

I bought four of these as Christmas presents fkr grandchildren (aged 9-13) who do a lot of baking, art work etc and who have pet rats and cats.. They would also be fine on an adult.
The quality was brilliant - it is hard wearing and looks great. The ties were way too long even for an adult and I will probably shorten them. The designs were very striking. The printing was fine.
