A resident of Cambridge is sometimes known as a Cantabrigian. The Latin motto of Cambridge, Massachusetts, is "Literis Antiquis Novis Institutis Decora", which means "Distinguished for its Classical Learning and Modern Institutions". The city flag of Cambridge contains an illustration of Gore Hall, which is a Gothic-Revival-style building that was built to be the central library of Harvard College, the undergraduate college of Harvard University.
