Flag of Saint Lucia (St Lucia) (Caribbean) Tie

This design features the national flag of Saint Lucia, which is a sovereign island country in the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. The island was previously called Iyonola, the name given to the island by the native Arawaks and later, Hewanorra, the name given by the native Caribs, two separate groups of Amerindian peoples. Saint Lucia is part of the Lesser Antilles; it is located north and northeast of the island of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. The capital city of Saint Lucia is Castries. Other major towns include Gros Islet, Soufrière, and Vieux Fort. The flag of Saint Lucia consists of a cerulean blue field charged with a yellow triangle in front of a white-edged black isosceles triangle; it has been the national flag since 1967.
