Flower Girl in Holland Poster
This is a wonderful reproduction of George Hitchcock's masterpiece of 1887, Flower Girl in Holland. This American artist was born in 1850 in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated Harvard Law School in 1874. Thereafter he became a painter and studied in Paris. His "Tulip Growing" attracted notice in the Paris Salon of 1885 and established the Egmondse School in Nethrelands which attracted many students. He became a chevalier of the French Legion of Honor, a member of the Vienna Academy of Arts, and the Muchich Secession Society. He died in 1913. This oil on canvas is 31.125 inches high and 58 inches wide and is in the Art Institute of Chicago.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
