Forget-me-not Blues Magnet

The charming little blue Forget-me-not is originally from Europe but can now be found along roadsides in New Zealand, as well as in gardens. It's name comes from the French name, "ne m'oubliez pas" and the many varieties fall under the genus Myosotis. There are a number of legends and beliefs associated with the Forget-me-not, from when God named the flowers to associations of chivalry and faithfulness between lovers. Historically, Henry IV adopted the flower as his symbol during his exile in 1398. It was also used in 1949 by Canadian Newfoundland as symbol of remembrance of the war dead (now joined by the Flanders poppy).
