An old bronze cannon is one of three mounted on concrete bases on a hill near Grant Hall overlooking the Missouri River at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In battle they were wheeled around. They are known as Napoleon twelve pounders. They were the primary cannon during the American Civil War.
