Four-petal Hanabishi crest

The crest of the Koraiya, the yagō (stage family name) of the kabuki actor Matsumoto Koshirō. Although it is originally associated with the line of Ichikawa Danjūrō's disciples, when Danjūrō has no heir, it is common for the Koraiya to provide an adopted successor to the Ichikawa Sōke. Notable family members include Ichikawa Somegorō and Ichikawa Kintarō. (From 'Family Crests and Names' by Takarajimasha). In 'Heian Monkan', the spacing between adjacent Hanabishi is wider compared to the standard 'Yotsu Hanabishi', but in 'Mon no Izumi' and 'Edo Monshū', the spacing is the same. This design is based on 'Heian Monkan'.
