Four Unicorns are leading the Procession. A dark horse follows. A blonde angelic baby is in the centre, riding on a Unicorn. I believe it is the Christ child, presented as an angel with wings, for the baby has the wounds of Christ. A woman in the foreground is pregnant. Another group of women, perhaps saints, are gathered in the background. The artist is unknown. My guess is that this unicorn image was made in the early 1400s. Image courtesy of visipix.com .
