Friedrich Schiller Poster
Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller, known as Friedrich Schiller, was born on November 10, 1759, in Marbach, Württemberg, in what is now Germany. He was a German poet, philosopher, historian, and playwright, and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest figures in German literature. Schiller's early education exposed him to classical literature and philosophy, which greatly influenced his intellectual development.
In 1782, Schiller became a military surgeon, but his passion for literature soon led him to abandon his medical career. His early plays, such as "The Robbers" (1781) and "Intrigue and Love" (1784), brought him fame and controversy for their exploration of themes related to freedom, justice, and individualism. Schiller's works often reflected the political and social turbulence of his time, including the impact of the French Revolution.
Schiller's friendship with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, another influential German writer, led to a period of fruitful collaboration. Together, they established the literary journal "Die Horen" in 1795, aiming to promote classical ideals and cultural enlightenment. During this time, Schiller produced some of his most significant works, including the historical dramas "Wallenstein" (1798), "Mary Stuart" (1800), and "Joan of Arc" (1801).
Friedrich Schiller's later years were marked by struggles with illness, but he continued to write prolifically. His philosophical works, such as "On the Aesthetic Education of Man" (1795) and "Letters on the Aesthetic Education of Man" (1795–1796), contributed to the development of German Idealism. Schiller passed away on May 9, 1805, in Weimar. His impact on German literature, philosophy, and the cultural landscape endured, and he remains celebrated for his eloquent expressions of human freedom, dignity, and the pursuit of beauty.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
