All friends deserve hugs. This little orphaned orangutan in the rainforest of Indonesia needed extra reassurance on this day.
My husband took this picture. Photographed on the island of Borneo. We donate all profits from the sale of this item to Orangutan Foundation International. The founder of O.F.I. - Dr. Birute Mary Galdikas - has been working to save orangutans and their rainforest habitat since the early 1970's. One of the best known photos of her if from the cover of October 1975 National Geographic magazine.
