From my hand to your hand thank you card

Hand-to-hand greeting cards. Reaching out and touching someone with a personalised note means so much in the digital age. Snail mail for any occasion or just to make contact is so awesomely warm and heartfelt. I created this image of a hand with a flower and all the sprouting leaves to celebrate the body to body connection, even when we can't be together in the same space. As a Georgia visionary folk artist, I stand for the soul being in every image that I create. I put time and love into my images. This hand imagery is significant to me because it reflects my involvement as a certified leader in InterPlay, an improvisational system founded by Phil Porter and Cynthia Winton-Henry that brings together the body, mind, heart, and spirit. One of the InterPlay forms we do is a one-hand dance, another is putting our hand together with a partner's hand and giving a push to show that we are present. While InterPlay's logo consists of one hand with a spiral in it, my hand graces a four-petaled flower, a symbol in my "Cosmos of Hallelujah."
