Colourized Photo from 1939 A small, rather rural gas station in Person County, North Carolina. A structure that still stands today, despite the shaky looking footings. On the right side is a kerosene pump, and on the left is a gas pump. They must really love working there, being it's a Sunday, a day normally when they are closed, yet they still go there to eat lunch and just shoot the breeze.
