"Gaudete, Christus est Natus" means "Rejoice, Christ is Born." From the Latin word "gaudete" comes the English word "gaudy." I took that as my signal to have way too much fun with my paints, using metallic shades of rose, gold and green. This Christmas card is a great way to remind people of the real reason for the season.
