Geisha are Japanese women who entertain through performing the ancient traditions of art, dance and singing, and are distinctively chraacterised by their wearing of kimono and Oshiro makeup. In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.
