Georges Seurat’s Impressionist masterpiece “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte”. Georges Seurat was born 2 Dec 1859 to an upscale Parisian family. Seurat was a systematic neo-impressionist. Seurat is known today as one of the pointillist masters. He analysed the proportions of the components of a tint to divide them into colours of the spectrum and then applied them with great precision so that there blending would produce the tint and his desired degree of vibration.
