Georges Seurat's Painting: The Models (1889) Canvas Print

A classic Neo-impressionistic scene (one of only a handful of major figure paintings that Seurat produced during his short life), this artwork has passed into the public domain and makes wonderful gifts and other products. The Models was Seurat's effort to show the execution of pointillism in an indoor setting, and shows his first major such work, the outdoor "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of the Grande-Jatte", on the rear wall. Georges Seurat is considered the founder of Neo-impressionism, which evolved out of pointillism and other post impressionistic schools.
