On July 3rd, 1938, the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, then President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the Eternal Light Peace Memorial. This sepia photo of a sunset, taken through the spokes of a canon carriage wheel on the memorial grounds, is a poignant reminder of that long ago battle. The memorial dedication is from the Georgia State Monument, located on the southern edge of Miller's Cornfield. A solemn gift for any American Civil War collector or a simple memorial token. While this is now being presented in the 'small' size, please, feel free to customise to the allowable size, your choice of matte, paper and framing to suit your personal space or tastes. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
