On July 3rd, 1938, the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, then President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the Eternal Light Peace Memorial. This sepia photo of a sunset, taken through the spokes of a canon carriage wheel on the memorial grounds, is a poignant reminder of that long ago battle. The memorial dedication is from the Georgia State Monument, located on the southern edge of Miller's Cornfield. A solemn gift for any American Civil War collector or a simple memorial token. While this is now being presented in the 'small' size, please, feel free to customise to the allowable size, your choice of matte, paper and framing to suit your personal space or tastes.
