Near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco is GHIRARDELLI SQUARE, a retail and restaurant complex. In 1893, the whole block was purchased by the Ghirardelli Family for the factory to produce their chocolates. In 1964, the block opened in its current form of shops and restaurants.
