Ghost Town Calendar from the Inside Out

So often we see exterior photographs of buildings in old ghost towns. But what was it like living in these buildings? This twelve month calendar includes eight rustic, interior photographs from old ranches and ghost towns that include Grant-Kohls ranch, Garnett ghost town, Bannack ghost town and Virginia City, all in Montana. Viewing a ghost town or an old mining town from the inside out is a great way to see what it was like to live in these "wild west" communities. Life activities weren’t much different than today. Workers could hardly wait until it was five o’clock, so they could enjoy a beer before heading home. They got haircuts and grabbed a hot cup of coffee on brisk, cold days. They read books from their favourite rocking chair, sewed up worn out clothing, and soaked in a hot bath on Saturday nights.
