Girl First Communion Carnations Gold Cross Floral Invitation
The text is in a faux gold foil square frame an has a faux gold cross above it. The name and the words "First Holy Communion" are golden coloured. The name is written in an elegant calligraphic script, the rest in caps. Around the gold frame there are lots of carnations: pink, yellow, white and burgundy red. The background is white marble.
On the back, there is the same big carnations bouquet on the marble background.
The carnations bouquet is from a calendar for 1904, named "The Flowers We Bring", published probably by Raphael Tuck & sons, now in the public domain.

The invitation arrived ahead of schedule. It was so beautiful in person. My daughter loved them and all of our invited guests thought they were lovely.
