This design features a painting by the German artist Carl von Bergen (1853–1933). It shows a sweet young girl lying across the grass outside her house on a sunny day. She is in a beautiful green garden as she plays with some small cute chicks (baby chickens). The mother hen is standing looking at her chicks. The girl is also holding a sandwich to eat. The girl is wearing a traditional dress and she has her hair in pigtails. The original artwork was painted in 1912.
