This is a shot of Glencoe and the Three Sisters, the daunting and precipitous north eastern face of Bidean Nam Bian; one of the more recognizable images of Glen Coe. Glen Coe, in the western Scottish highlands has an infamous character, being known historically for the Massacre of Glencoe in the 17th Century. Nowadays it is a challenging and rewarding landscape for photographers, mountain climbers, walkers, and skiers. I am sure the sun shines here sometimes; but I have yet to see it!
