Gobi Sand Dune Laptop Sleeve

Gobi Sand Dune was taken near Yang Guan, China in the desert Gobi. During my journey on the Silk Road, we repeatedly made detours into the desert Gobi. The Gobi, the fifth largest desert in the world, arcs across the borderlands of northern China and southern Mongolia. The Gobi Desert takes its name from the Mongolian word "gobi," which means large and dry. Vast tracts of bare rock and sandy planes provide little escape from the scorching heat of the sun or the bone-chilling freeze of the night. It’s one of the great natural wonders of Asia, rich in culture and history, having formed a major part of the ancient Silk Road, hosted parts of the Great Wall of China. In some areas you can find high sand dunes and depending on the time of day, the sand shines in golden colours or turned deep red. I just loved the solitude and the impressive colours of the desert.
