Royalty. Through time immemorial, people bowed and scraped to the matriarchs and patriarchs of the world in hopes that the table scraps of the uber wealthy might hit their meagre outstretched hands as if to say "thanks guvner, any chance for a brass farthing?" "Not today, boy, now go back to your serfdom where you belong!" Ahh, to be so lucky as to even be acknowledged by all those wigs and silk stockings. One could never hope to achieve such status, that only belonged to the bloodlines that could trace back every drop of milk of every queen mums teat. And yet, the funniest, dirtiest secret of all was not that the royal family was so pure that they were like gods, no, it was that they were a little TOO pure, so they were more....special. It's amazing when you see how money can corrupt the thought process. At one point, their best idea on a good day was trying to "keep the money, honey" by getting the prince and princess to "get down for the crown", so that brother and sister could easily be man and wife. Well, as science could tell you today, a few generations of this kind of thinking led to too many chips off the old block until the block was more of a ....blockhead. Whoops. Well, thank god us mere mortals were finally woven into the royal fabric at some point to help strengthen the bloodlines and the relations between oligarchs and, well, the rest of us. Ahhhh, maybe God didn't save the Queen, maybe after all, it was you and me. Now that's royalty I can believe in!
