This simply stylish photo birth announcement postcard features a contemporary look that is equally well suited to girls and boys. The name and stats text on the front is in an elegant gold tone called California Gold, but when you edit our sample text to show your own details, you can easily change any of the text colour and font to suit your style. If you prefer a more minimalist look, you can delete without replacing any of our sample stats-you might not want to include the time of day or length, for example. We've set the background on both sides as transparent, to let the colour of your paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this by choosing a colour on one or both sides instead. On the back, we've added some placeholder text for you to replace with your own message. Though we used a shade of grey for the placeholder text, you can change the colour as well as the font. After you delete our placeholder text, you might decide to simply leave the back message part of the card entirely blank, so that you can add a handwritten message with your signatures after you receive your cards. In any case, please do remember to remove all of the placeholder and sample text on both sides including the sample details on the front and the placeholder text and sample names and sample return address as well as our sample photo! The default paper type, matte, has a soft warmth to it and resists smudging, so it's a great choice for writing your own message. But you can easily change this to semi-gloss if you prefer.
