Gold on Quartz (Norm & Roz Pellman Collection), Eagles Nest Mine, Placer Co., California, 3 1/4" tall. SOLD California Gold is truly the ultimate locality for the species. Gold is one of the "must have" minerals for every collector. Superb quality Golds are not easy to find. It's not that Gold is so uncommon, it's that so few of them have everything you want. To assess a Gold is really quite simple; sharp well defined crystals, high metallic mirror lustre and, if possible, on matrix. This piece fits my criteria perfectly. The Gold crystals are a mixture of flattened octahedrons, elongated octahedrons and "fern-like" crystals, all growing into a beautiful "bonsai" tree formation. The Gold is lustrous, it's truly dazzling eye candy. I have extraordinarily high standards for Gold specimens. I have seen and handled the top 1% of California Golds and I have been spoiled. Those of you who have watched our web site over the past many years will attest that I have not had many Golds for sale. Simply put, I haven't seen one worthy. This one is worthy.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.

it's very good quality especially for cutting out, i chose too big of a size but thats okay as it still looks really cute on my door :3 and so cheap to print as well thank you.
