The Golden Waterfall, also known as the Jinguashi Golden Waterfall, is a stunning natural attraction located in the northern part of Taiwan, near the town of Jiufen. The waterfall gets its name from the golden hue of the water, which is caused by the presence of heavy metals, such as iron and copper, in the surrounding rocks. As the water flows over the rocks, it picks up these minerals, giving it a shimmering, golden appearance. The waterfall is not particularly high, but its unique colour and the surrounding scenery make it a popular tourist destination. The area around the waterfall is also home to several hiking trails that offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and sea.
