Last summer, I decided we simply had to to the top of Grandfather Mountain in the Appalachians to get some shots, it had been 4 years since our last visit. When we go there, this is what we found - a big storm coming right at us over the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. I got enough time to compose a couple of shots before we were, literraly, battered by this mountain top storm. Scary. 2011
