According to mythology, she was responsible for all the stars in the sky. When she took a web she had spun, laced it with dew, and threw it into the sky, the sparkling dew drops became a sea of endless stars. She also brought the gift of fire, light and warmth to all humanity, and taught them how to make pottery, and appropriately enough, how to weave.
