Grapevine Butterfly w/ Verse Postcard
The "Grapevine Butterfly" Postcard features a beautiful butterfly perched among grape vines and browning grape leaves. As I watched the butterfly feed on the rotting fruit and then perch upon a leaf to digest its food, I was moved to capture this picture in September of 2007. Although I was inspired to write the verse, "The Words of Faith" in 1999, this photograph reflects its message. The verse is inscribed on the back of the postcard.
The Words of Faith
As nectar nourishes a butterfly,
the words of faith nourish me.
So, I feed on God's Word
