This panoramic scene was taken in the early morning at Antelope Island State Park in Utah. The deep blue waters of the Great Salt Lake stand in stark contrast to the grasslands in the foreground and the desolate mountains in the distance. The lone buffalo grazing in the foreground completes the composition. Antelope Island is beautiful in it’s desolation, but as you wonder the island you encounter all kinds of life, buffalo, antelope, foxes, many kinds of birds and unfortunately lots of bugs. Oh well, it’s well worth it.
