Great Buddha at Kamakura Mug

This photo was taken in Spring 2006 in Kamakura, Japan. It was my first trip to Japan and this was one of the first places I wanted to visit. For the first few days it was cloudy and rainy in Japan. But on the day that we decided to visit the Great Buddha, it was a rare and beautiful clear day with clear blue skies. This Buddha was so impressive that I had to take many photos of it. This one was definately my favourite. If you're ever in Japan, it's a "must see".
