Great Lakes Freighter Sierra, shown as she appeared as built in 1906 in Toledo for Tomlinson's Inter-Ocean shipping company (Despite the name, a Great Lakes shipping line). The first freighter to make a radio transmission on the Great Lakes, Sierra was converted to a self-unloader before being sold to Columbia Transportation. She was scrapped in 1964.
