Gold adds elegance to a traditional Christmas ribbon pattern: the green plaid. This pattern is almost a grid, because of its square shapes and its white background. It has vintage origin as a watercolor pattern, which account for its noteable imperfections. They are part of the original work! We think you will enjoy this less usual addition to your gift wrapping tasks. It pairs well with modern wrap styles as well as vintage/ retro. We show it in the very nice 3 inch width size, which does it justice. But it also looks good in the narrower version.

It looks really great and feels to be good quality. It will be excellent for family gifts and crafting. Overall, I am extremely pleased.
By the way, it is a Family tartan, not a Clan tartan. The design was quite accurate and the colours match our kilts, but I was a little disappointed about the position chosen for the tartan. The Kilgour tartan has two very distinctive narrow yellow stripes running at right angles to each other, and one was hidden in the selvedge area so virtually invisible. (See photo.) Maybe it is better in the wider ribbons.
