The Green Stained Glass Camel proudly joins the Small Friends' Stained Glass Animal Family. Captured in watercolor on a break from his world lecture tour, he took a few minutes to explain how valuable camels could be in a modern economy.
"It is well known," he said, "that camels can carry large loads and travel 25 miles in a day.
"We can go for as many as 130 miles without water, and then all we need," he noted, is "30 gallons of water at each rest stop. And we can drink it in as little as 13 minutes."
