I photographed this beautiful bird at the Kansas City Zoo. It appears to almost be smiling and seemed quite happy and content in its surroundings with several other macaws. They are very social with one another and also seemed to enjoy the attention from visitors. They are considered the "Gentle Giant" of macaws for their sweet temperament.
