This card is in the traditional Chinese New Year colours of red (for happiness) and gold (for wealth). The text says, "Best Wishes for a Happy New Year," which is pronounced "gong her sin si."
The script I used is Li Book, which has a calligraphic square-like format. This style has been used since the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD).
