Greeting Card | Gormley 'Land' Figure, Kimmeridge

This life-sized iron figure, by Sir Antony Gormley, appeared in May 2015 below Clavell Tower, at Kimmeridge in Dorset. Kimmeridge is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The installation is one of five in the ‘Land’ series, which have been placed at specially selected Landmark Trust sites around the country, with each figure being designed to compliment its surroundings. The waterside locations of the five statues:- Clavell Tower, Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset Lengthsman’s Cottage, Lowsonford, Warwickshire Lundy Island, Bristol Channel Martello Tower, Aldeburgh, Suffolk Saddell Bay, Mull of Kintyre, Scotland Designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Landmark Trust, the 'Land' sculptures will remain in place for one year - until May 2016.
