Grungy Patterns with Messy Patchwork of Textures

It's great fun to combine visual elements that aren't supposed to belong together. I can't decide if this looks like it belongs from an old quilt or rug... or from a futuristic steampunk scene. Using rusty reds with black and warm beige and dusty greys and black, I layered a mountain of images which were then manipulated and texturised, erased and scratched up - digitally-speaking, that is. This design is called "Delivery to Another World".

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world! My Nan loved my artwork too and the picture of us inside helped her remember who I was as she has Alzheimer's. Crisp and clear. Bright and colorful true to the original artwork I created.
