Haight Ashbury Psychedelic Hippie Fashion Art Jigsaw Puzzle
This beautiful, delicate, intricate and lovely “Haight Ashbury” design will make anyone feel special while gazing into the cosmic design’s complex imagery. Viewers are transported within themselves, to San Francisco’s 1967 “Summer of Love”, where they recognise and appreciate those special and unique qualities that make them the talented and precious person that they are as they pursue their dreams in sympathetic harmony with the ancient tribal rhythms of the Haight Ashbury community. The words “Haight Ashbury” and “It Ain’t Kansas” are written in white text against a varied and colourfully ambient kaleidoscope background superimposed with iridescent “rhodochrosite pink”, “rose red”, “blueberry blue”, “lapis lazuli” ultramarine, peach, strawberry, and gold and silver highlighting, creating an overall impression of a vision of dreams laced together to form an endless mandala of the body and spirit’s universal conversation with the borderless, boundless, expansive and infinite universe as their research probes the mystic psychedelic experiences of the internal and external realities and rhythms of the universe. The use of kaleidoscopic hippie mandala imagery and design stimulates molecular crystal rhythms within, as the phosphorescent background photographs, complements and highlights lighter colours seen shimmering as if they were under a phantasmagoric blanket of the night in the gardens of the moon as they burn a pearlescent cadmium white, yellow and red through crystal healing tuned energy sources. Through adaptive colourimetry, certain elements of the image, when viewed for a few moments, begins to look three dimensional, providing a thought provoking and original 3D centerpiece sure to stimulate conversation in any setting. These images are fully customisable to celebrate a parent (father, mother, “father-in-law” “mother-in-law”) or relative (sister, brother. “step sister” “step brother” niece, nephew, grandchild, granddaughter, grandson, grandfather, grandmother ) student (undergraduate or graduate) teacher, guru, professor, room mate, sorority sister, fraternity brother, lover, soul mate or in touch friend. To change the words (or maybe remove the “It Ain’t Kansas” logo), just add or remove the appropriate lettering using the "customise" button and commemorate any event.

I got this image in 110 pieces as I cannot commit to large puzzles. This one took me about an hour and was fairly easy. Perhaps 252 pieces would have better suited me for a little more complexity. This is not my favourite sugar skull as I prefer more girly colours like hot pink, reds and purples but I enjoyed doing this one. There is a lot of detail in the image and it was interesting to do. I don't think I will buy the larger puzzle count just because there are other sugar skull images that I much prefer.
Again very good quality puzzle and durable storage box that fits very well on small bookcase. The image was well positioned on this one so who ever printed this one got it pretty bang on.

We are pleased with the jigsaw itself. However we are disappointed the box is far bigger than the jigsaw and not the kind of storage box we expected i.e. Ravensburger standard; rather it's a postage box and not very sturdy at that. Given it cost £18 + pp we did expect more. The image quality is good.
The pieces are rather thin and flimsy.

I bought this image in 110 pieces because I like puzzles I can complete in a few hours. This one took me about 1.5 hours. It was surprisingly challenging in that in the nebular section of the image the pieces were difficult to orientate. It was difficult to gauge which pieces were right without trying them and sometimes I thought certain pieces wouldn't fit and they did. It must be the way the image is made up that it tricks the eye. I definitely found it harder than I thought it would be so yes it's a challenge.
As always very good quality puzzle in a very durable box that stores really well on my small bookcase. The image was well orientated on the puzzle so I would say the printer got this one pretty bang on. Very good quality image.
