Halloween's Guardian Tree Ornament Throw Pillow

I imagined this scene while waiting in great anticipation for Halloween. Corvids; crows and ravens are mysterious spirits, associated with the Dark Goddess and the afterlife, in this piece of art I imagined they are the keeper of the mysteries of Halloween. This dark bird parts the veil between the worlds with a strange skeleton key, reminding us of our ancestors that have come before us. The full moon illuminates the scene through the clouds. The last of the harvest has been cleared from the land as winter awaits just around the corner, both corn and pumpkins are New World produce, a nod to the early days when the traditions of Halloween were first brought to America. An old fashioned sickle rests against a sheaf of corn and represents both the abundant harvest as well as the fleeting of life. We see an old bare tree on the horizon, a reminder of the bare winter coming and the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth.
