These ripe red strawberries were hand-painted from life. I brought them home from the farmers market and they were so pretty that I wanted to remember how they looked. So I painted them the old-fashioned way, with watercolors and a brush. Against a classic white background, they remind me of strawberries and cream. Perfect for Valentine's Day or any time!
