Heartfelt feelings of friendship can be found in this Happy Birthday Dear Friend Card! I love the minimalism of it, and the sense of beauty found in winter. This delicate image of my crab apple tree in the dead of winter, in my front yard, is the backdrop for this card. I took the original image on a beautiful sunny day with the tree against a light blue sky and then turned it into a watercolor. The delicate branches and crab apple pattern reminds me of many Japanese inspired nature themes.

This card is great fun and good quality. I loved the humour inside and on the back. There is the opportunity to change the orientation of this card from landscape to portrait, which I did. It is relatively straightforward to amend the typeface to fit the new orientation. It was well packaged with no plastic. The printing on this card is excellent.
