This selection is from stories of wise and virtuous women This print illustrates Hatsuhana doing penance under the Tonozawa waterfall for the cure of her son's knee, until the austerities killed her. Miraculously cured, Hatsuhana's son seeks revenge, killing his arch-enemy near the waterfall. Utagawa Kuniyoshi (ca. 1797 - April 14, 1861) was one of the last great masters of the Japanese ukiyo-e style of woodblock prints and painting and belonged to the Utagawa school. Beautiful vintage fine art colourful woodblock print.

I wasn't sure what to expect but was excited to have a tie for my husband which matched my wedding attire. A super easy process taking a photo of my dress and uploading it to the website.
