It attempts to make good on reparations to the wrongs of the overthrow of 1893 by government acknowledging the official language as Hawaiian, establishing Office of Hawaiian Affairs to lay the ground work to establish a legal government and collect / distribute funds assigned to indigenous Hawaiians, it also set in motion the repatriation of Kaho'olawe from the federal government.
