This is my fun take on a popular wooden bee toy that nearly all New Zealand ( Kiwi ) children have when they are growing up. I have replaced the bees face with a stylised Hei Tiki design. Hei Tiki is an iconic Maori design. This bee toy is pulled along the floor by a string. As the wheels turn the wings spin. I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.
