Herring Gull Resting on Rock Jetty: Invitation
While walking on the rocks at the south jetty in Barnegat Light we came across this wild herring gull, resting on a greyish rock and basking in the warm summer sun. This adult seagull has a white head with grey back, grey wings and white tail. White spots on black wing tips are visible. Individual wing feathers can be seen in this close up photo. Calm blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean can be seen in the background.
This scenic colour photograph by DeborahLynne, using a digital camera, was taken while visiting Barnegat Lighthouse State Park at the Jersey Shore and is located at the north end of Long Beach Island in Ocean County, New Jersey. This is a perfect spot to go bird watching for the avid birder.

This invitation was even better than we could imagine! They look exactly how we designed them on the laptop. Even before I took them out of the clear packaging I still didn't think they would be as good. I thought they would be flimsy, but they are quite thick and are a good quality invitation!
