Hidari Mitsudomoe (Without Ground) Stationery

[Hidari Mitsutomo] The right and left of Tomoe was not the way of winding the vortex, but a rational name made from the drawing. This is something that a master painter knows right away, but a teacher who has never drawn a crest will only be distracted by the direction of the vortex. However, even a high-ranking painter sometimes gets lost in a hurry. At that time, the upper eshi recalls a good oral tradition. ...First, hold the left hand and look at the wrist. Then the shape becomes a left-hand figure. If you hold the right hand, you will see the shape of a right tomoe in a moment. (By Tsumao Awasaka, "The Story of the Family Crest" P61)/This design is the specification of the Zurikomi (sliding). Surikura is a word derived from the technique of drawing, drawing, cutting a tomoe, making a pattern paper, placing the pattern paper on the cloth, and printing the paint with a brush (By Tsumao AWASAKA, "Manji no Magical Power of Tomoe, Magical Power of Tomoe" P146)

This linen paper combined with my design and the printing is more beautiful than I expected. This was a test run which I learned a great deal on (how important it is to wear my glasses!). It feels lovely to the touch; the texture is irresistable, perfect for finely printed wedding invites and announcements. The design is exactly like the photo mock up, the colors, crispness, etc, I couldn't be happier. I recommend customers that make these from scratch to use a template for accurateness of measurements and distances, another valuable lesson learned from my test run!
